When objects and faculties contact with each other, sensational consciousness with mental formations appear. If the object is pleasurable, pleasant feeling arises and we get attached to it. We become more and more greedy and think of getting what we want rightfully or wrongfully. If we don’t get what we want or loose what we possess, our greediness turns into grievances. We are burned by craving and aversion because of ignorance. We have to overcome it by Right View and Right Thinking (Sammā Dhitti, Sammā Sankappa). That’s why we need to practice Vipassana Meditation (Eight Fold Noble Path) for discernment, peacefulness and deliverance.
