“Anatta” is an important principle of Tathagata Buddha. The whole world is impermanent, Nothing in the world is permanent, this truth is Buddha’s Anatta Principle tells. The world flows continuously like the water of a river, Therefore the world is depicted as water. But, in this ever-changing world, one thing is eternal and that is Buddha’s Dhamma. Dhamma means Natural Laws, which never change. You have whichever move in place, time, or circumstances, but natural law is everywhere live the same. Einstein’s E = mc2 principle is somewhere in the world also applies everywhere. That is, the Buddha’s Dhamma is everlasting, and therefore he It is called “Ace Dhammo Sanantano”. Because of Buddha’s Dhamma being a natural law, Buddha’s Dhamma is in every particle of the world, the Omniscient Buddhists believe. Even though India’s People do not take the name of Buddha, but they indirectly refer to Buddha and following the Dhamma only. After Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana, people were seeing Buddha in his Dhamma. They believed that even though the Tathagata Gautama Buddha is not among us in the form of a body, he is still present among us in the form of Dhamma. His Dhammavachan is his body, so people started worshiping Buddha as “Dhammakaya”. There were Omniscient Buddhists even in the time of Ashoka, which shows the antiquity of the Omniscient Buddhist sect. According to the Omniscients, Dhamma resides in every particle of the world and Dhamma being actually the Dhammakaya of Buddha, the “Dhammakaya Buddha” is also residing in every particle of the world. So also known as Vishwavyapi or Vishwaroop Buddha i.e Universal or Universal Buddha. Inspired by Vishwaroop Buddha in the Aranyaka Parva of the Mahabharata (Mbh, III. 186.39) there is a mention of “Vishwaroop Devta”, which was later called “Vishnurup” and then he was called “Vishnu”. The important symbols of Buddha were the Lotus, the Dhammachakra, the Conch Shell and the Mace, which later came to be regarded as the symbols of Vishnu.

In the Mahabharata (XII 325.4, 48, 44, 133) Vishnu is referred to as Tushit Heaven Deity is mentioned and in other verses of the same chapter (XII.323.12, 333.28, 337.54) it has been pointed out that, Tushita heaven was actually Buddhist heaven. Meaning, the god of heaven of Buddhists is Vishnu, such is the Mahabharata have to say. But, in the Buddhist literature written even before the Mahabharata, Tathagata Buddha is said to be the Deity of Tushita heaven. Tathagata Buddha himself had gone to heaven to explain Dhamma to Mother Mahamaya, It has been told in the literature and buddhists therefore Buddha is known as the god of heaven came to know. This proves that Buddha was later called Vishnu. Buddha was called ‘Bhagavat or Bhagavata’. Therefore, Vishnu too Bhagwat came to be known. That is, Bhagavata Vishnu means Tathagata Buddha and Bhagavata Dharma means Buddhism itself. (D. D. Kosambi, Introduction To The Study Of Indian History, P. 145). It was also accepted by Swami Vivekananda that Buddhism and Bhagavata Dharma (Vaishnavism) are the same. (Conversation with Vivekananda, Sharadchandra Chakraborty, P. 268) Vaishnavas are indeed “Buddhist Vaishnavas”, this fact has been proved by J. Stevenson in his article “Buddho-Vaishvavas” with many evidences. Ramai Pandit, a Buddhist bhikkhu who became a Vaishnava, was the author of ‘Shunya Purana’ in the 7th century. Achyutananda, a Buddhist bhikkhu who became a Vaishnava in the 15th century, says in his book ‘Shunya Sanhita’ that, “because of fear we Buddhists have become Vaishnavas and we have started calling Buddha Vishnu. But, when favorable conditions are created, we will again adopt our real Buddhist form and will also expose the Buddhist form of Vishnu to the world”.

In Buddhist texts like Lalitavistara, Saddharma Pundarika, it has been told that whenever there is an increase in suffering on earth, then Buddha will incarnate as a Bodhisattva and save the earth. The future incarnation Maitreya Buddha will be like this The scriptures say. In the Saddharma Pundarika Sutra, 24, it is told that, from Padmagarbha, many Sakyaputra Bodhisattvas are being born and freeing people from suffering. The Buddhist concept of this incarnation was developed in the Gupta period under the name of Vishnu. King Chandragupta II (386-415 AD) declared himself as a Varaha avatar of Vishnu and saved the earth from drowning in the ocean (ie from the tyranny of the Shakas). All the above evidences show that only Tathagata Buddha has been called Vishnu after the second century. Therefore, even today in Sri Lanka Buddha is worshiped by the Buddhists there in the form of Vishnu. The real history of Buddha in Buddhist nations is maintained but Buddhist history in India has been largely tampered with. Buddhist history and heritage in India has been largely Brahminised, making even Buddha names like Vishnu anti-Buddhist.

In order to eradicate the existence of Buddha from India, the Brahmins Brahminized the Buddha’s name Vishnu through the Puranas and hided Buddha by promoting those mythological stories on a large scale, due to which people forgot Buddha, and Vishnu is name in the Brahminical form in the society. Overwhelmed and Brahminization of society took place. To De-Brahmanize Indian society again, it is necessary to bring this reality to the fore, only then people will understand the reality of Vishnu and how Buddha’s Vishnu has been Brahminized by fooling Buddhist Indians by this name of Buddha. It will also be clear from this that all Hindus who believe in Vishnu are actually ancient Buddhists because Vishnu is actually another name for Buddha.
