Major General Sir Alexander Cunnigham found the top part of the Stupa near Besnagar in the 1870. Currently it is preserved in Indian Museum, Kolkata. Historians have imagined it as Kalpavriksha and linked it with Lakshmi.

But it is not the Kalpavriksha, the Bodhi Tree which matches the Bodhivriksha marked on the Sanchi Stupa as in above picture.

So This Top Part of Stupa Discovered By Major General Sir Alexander Cunnigham is Bodhivriksha And Connected To GAUTAMA BUDDHA.
